A short time back Good Sheet for the Planet got in touch with me and asked would I use their product and review it for them.
I jumped at the chance to try anything more eco friendly.
Natural, eco-friendly laundry strips. Get rid of powders and liquids, they're too messy and you never get the right amount for your load!
These strips are tough on stains and gentle on fabrics.
Good Sheets are easy to use – The perforated sheet makes it easy to clean a regular or large load! Just toss a strip in with your laundry and let it do its thing.
I tried the scented ones which smelt divine and I have to say I was thrilled with the results. So easy to use - have a perforated line in the middle for smaller washes, no mess, smelt fabulous and our clothing cleaned and very fresh, brilliant.
We will be using these sheets for sure x

El libro del remedio salvaje.
Este libro no solo es una gran lectura informativa, es hermoso de leer. Brinda una visión brillante de los beneficios medicinales de la flora y la fauna. Abarca un año de su vida y los cambios de la flora y fauna a medida que pasa cada mes y los beneficios que trae. Descubrí este libro durante el primer encierro mientras veía las transmisiones en vivo de Self Isolates Bird Club (SIBC), Emma apareció en esta transmisión explicando la ciencia detrás de todo esto. De todos modos, tengo una pasión por el mundo y la vida salvaje, pero literalmente me ensucié las manos más después de leer este libro y estoy completamente de acuerdo con lo que Emma ha escrito en su libro. Salir al aire libre para ver lo que hay para tomar y la diferencia que puede hacer en su salud mental es fascinante. Este libro es imprescindible si te encuentras entrando y saliendo de esos lugares oscuros.
The Eco Fill Shop
Another product try this time from my local Eco Fill company.
Most household, cleaning and toiletries are available. You go online place your order and my items are delivered to my front door and the closed loop begins.
All provided in glass bottles, which you return, they get washed and reused.
The bottle you get with your pumps you simply refill with your orders.
We are currently getting kitchen towels, hand soap, laundry wash and softner, toothpaste, washing up liquid and even got our daughter a fab cardboard Gruffallo playset for Christmas which she loves.
Highly recommend if you are lucky enough to have one in your area.

Eco Warrior Time
Si puede acceder a YouTube, recomiendo completamente The Project Diaries, esta es una forma fabulosa y sencilla de ayudarlo a cultivar sus propios alimentos. Este está dirigido por Lee, quien también sufre algunos problemas de salud y ha descubierto que la jardinería es un salvavidas. Lee hace que todo sea lo más simple posible y también es muy ecológico. Mi familia ha estado siguiendo a Lee durante alrededor de un año y ha probado algunos trozos y bobs, que han sido exitosos y, oh Dios mío, muy sabrosos. Lee no ha podido publicar mucho recientemente debido a sus continuos problemas de salud, pero mira sus videos anteriores y suscríbete a su canal y muestra algo de apoyo.

SIBC (Grupo de aves autoaislante)
Este es un grupo en Facebook que fue iniciado por Chris Packham / Megan McCubbin and Co. Surgió debido al bloqueo original, si amas tu vida salvaje, este es un gran grupo y hacen transmisiones en vivo con regularidad. Durante el primer encierro hicieron una transmisión todas las mañanas de lunes a viernes. Ah, y no siempre se trata solo de aves, se parece más a la vida silvestre en general. 30 días salvaje
Este es un desafío que World Wildlife Trust pone en junio de cada año con la esperanza de que lo continúe tanto como sea posible durante todo el año. Mi familia y yo participamos por primera vez el año pasado y fue genial, es un desafío realmente divertido para hacer con los niños y al mismo tiempo enseñarles sobre la importancia de la vida silvestre y lo divertido que puede ser ser más consciente del medio ambiente. Si va al sitio web, complete sus datos y puede descargar su paquete e imprimirlo o puede enviarlo por correo. Puedes hacer cualquier cosa SALVAJE que quieras y luego escribirlo en tu tabla todos los días, incluso te envían un certificado para imprimir cuando hayas completado el desafío. Hicimos un baño de abejas, pusimos una caja de murciélagos, un estanque de fregadero en nuestro jardín y mucho más. He enviado a buscar nuestro paquete ya que participamos de nuevo este año. Doing a bit to help our lovely planet
I have recently discovered an app called TreeApp. It is an app that means you can plant a tree a day for free and if you want to you can pay a £1 to plant another tree. You basically watch an advert scroll, usually 3 clicks and then you can plant a tree at the end. As they only have so many trees they can plant there are days when they have been used up for the day. This is funded by the companys that advertise through the app. You can see your progress, the difference you have made and where they are being planted. Please take a look and see if it something you would consider using.

Self Care Swaps
A couple of new ones we have been trying and loving.
I finally took the plunge and ordered a way more eco friendly saftey razor. It cost me £15.99 and it came with 10 blades. All I can say is I WISH I HAD DONE THIS AGES AGO. I get a well closer shave, no dragging and days later my legs do not seem to feel so prickly (which is fab). My fiance is now going to give this a try on his face so I will see what he thinks.
We have also changed our exfoliating scrub to this Mint Buff, again love it. Face feels debris free, feels lovely and zingy when you use it and the smell is fab and even clears the nostrils when you use it.
Both are KEEPERS!

Let's talk deodorant
There are now many eco friendly swaps available.
Me and my Fiance have tried both these products now. They are both great products and are both way better for our planet.
Let us start with WILD - great and easy to use roll on, refills are very easy and cost effective. You can set up a subscription for these too and refer a friend and you get money off and they get a good set up deal. This like old unfriendly deos need to be applied every day. They smell really good and there is a variety on offer as well as styles of cases.
Cacao - This one is great, more fiddly to use so if your hands are not great this could be an issue. They now have a few different scents available now too. The one main advantage to this one is you do not need to apply it everyday. It has a strong formula so it is not recommended to use it daily and it does work. It comes in a glass jar and a block lasts months!
So overall we prefer things in both of them and would love to have them all in one.
We have our WILD ones in use at the moment and 3 refills. Once we have gotten to the end of those I will put a futher update on with our final decision on which we have decided to stick with.
